We are proud to present the first-ever Afro Hair Show in Wales, an event dedicated to celebrating and addressing the unique hair care needs of Afro-textured and mixed-heritage hair. In Wales, access to hairdressing training tailored to Black hair remains limited, with a shortage of specialist salons making it even more challenging for individuals to find the right support.

Our mission is to bridge this gap by fostering knowledge, understanding, and appreciation of Afro hair. Through interactive sessions, expert-led demonstrations, and valuable insights into protective styling and hair care, this event provides a platform for individuals to connect with skilled Afro hair stylists, training opportunities, and essential resources.

By encouraging the use of appropriate hair vocabulary and enhancing awareness of diverse hair textures, we aim to empower individuals, build confidence, and ensure that Afro hair care is better understood and more accessible across Wales.
