The film project aims to shed light on the experiences of Caribbean immigrants who settled in Wales between 1948 and 1971, known as the Windrush generation. Through film, storytelling, and music, it seeks to amplify their voices and raise awareness of their struggles and triumphs. The project involves thematic analysis of their accounts, aiming to uncover hidden voices and challenge misconceptions. By sharing their stories, the project hopes to normalize conversations about migration and racism, inspiring future generations and building empathy. Five participants are featured in the film, with support from the University of South Wales and Hodge Bank. 

The film was showcased at a private cinema event, Chapter Arts, in November, aiming to educate and pass on cultural heritage to younger generations. The project also seeks to raise awareness in local communities and educational institutions across Wales, ensuring the history of the Windrush generation is recognized as part of British history and empowering individuals with knowledge of their rights.
